Our dinners are not your average fare.
Delicious, off the beaten path dishes made with fresh, local ingredients.
Our Restaurant, based in Grayshott on the Surrey Hampshire borders is going from strength to strength.
Happily the busiest food outlet within a considerable radius, we pride ourselves on continuing to provide the three assets of a successful restaurant - excellent food, great service and a lovely location.
Dine inside or outside (in the warmer months!), choose from a variety of homemade dishes served every day.Come and try either breakfast, lunch or join us for our evening menu on Thursday through to Saturday or even just relax with a cocktail or glass of wine.
Our breakfasts are a little bit special (even if we do say so ourselves)! We serve everything from your traditional full English to homemade soda bread with sliced avocado and poached eggs, or how about a Mexican Full! We have something for everyone.
We aren't like your average restaurant, in that we utilise the shop delicatessen counter to provide both an Ottolenghi style main with a selection of salads, as well as a more traditional menu of your favourites such as BBQ baby back ribs, a succulent ribeye steak or our ever popular salmon fishcakes!
Our 5 metre delicatessen counter is stocked with a range of delicious charcuterie from both the UK and further afield. Our kitchens work tirelessly to provide a good range of meals to purchase, salads with stuffed sea trout to scotch eggs, pork pies and delicious cheeses.
Our Cheese counter stocks about 40 different types of cheeses, all selected by us to be interesting and unique. We will often keep them in the background to ripen before they are put out, for that optimum taste.

Local Artisan Producers
We have looked long and hard to source a range of local producers fit for your larder.
We predominantly buy from within a 50 mile radius and try to stock products that sit well with the food we are creating in the kitchen and for sale on the deli counter.
We have the most exceptional truffle mayonnaise, delightful locally grown tomatoes and wonderful small batch chocolate, fit for a king.
Let us know if we're missing someone or something delicious and we'll get them in!

Drawing on our passion for exceptional food, Applegarth Cookery School is opening its doors in
July 2018 to offer small classes for complete beginners to seasoned cooks.
From hands-on practical courses for a whole day or an evening, to demonstrations for those who don't want to get their hands dirty. If you are between the ages of 7 and 107 we would love to welcome you to our small and friendly cookery school cabin.
We've been doing this for ten years and in that time we've put on some awesome events. From a book signing with Julia Donaldson and Jeremy Hunt to the blues and royals marching band with 3,000 people. We put on 5 craft fairs a year for three years which attracted a massive crowd of people. With what's just happened to the farm we are now a little limited on space so we're going to look to make the events a little more unique and personal.
Charity Table - you eat, we give.
Work for Good is a fantastic platform that allows us to contribute to a wide range of charities, both locally and further afield. Simply come and dine at our 'charity table and we will give 50% of the profit from your meal to your chosen charity. Fill out the form detailing where you want it to go and we shall make it so!
