First and foremost, Applegarth is a Restaurant, Farm Shop & Cookery School – a business which thrives on human interactions. Like many others, we find ourselves in an unprecedented moment of crisis where we must minimise our contact with others – all for the greater good. 

 

Ever resourceful, resolute and trying to do the best for both our employees and our community, we are finding ways to keep the wheels turning by offering home delivery and click & collect on groceries, household items & restaurant-grade takeaway meals. After all, just because dining out isn’t an option at the moment, it doesn’t mean you can’t eat in with some seriously good food & drink.

IS THE FARM SHOP OPEN?

Yes. Although, please only visit the shop if you are not displaying symptoms of the virus and are able to maintain a 2-metre distance from other shoppers as well as our employees. To minimise the risk of cross-contamination, all cooked meats are now pre-cut and vac-packed instead of cut to order and we kindly ask you to pay by contactless instead of chip & pin or cash

Don’t worry. We are aware of the issue. When you get to the map, enter your village name. In the + Delivery Instructions box please write your address in full along with any instructions to help our drivers

 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY ORDER?

We are working hard to process orders within 24 hours. We will call you when your order is ready to collect or to tell you we are on our way.

 

CAN I PLACE AN ORDER OVER THE PHONE?

Yes, if you are struggling to use our website or cannot easily access the internet, you can order your shop over the phone with one of our dedicated shop assistants in a safe & secure environment. Please just give our team a call on 01428 772150 

 

I WANT TO ORDER SOMETHING THAT IS OUT OF STOCK

Re-stocking certain products is a continued challenge but we're engaging new suppliers to assist and refilling our shelves as quickly as we can. Please keep a close eye on our website for an up to date list of what’s available 

 

WHY HAS THE PRICE OF CERTAIN ITEMS CHANGED?

Where we see a significant fluctuation in market pricing, we may have to tweak the sale price of those items. Our markups remain as they were

 

WILL I BE REFUNDED FOR ANY MISSING ITEMS?

Yes. If a suitable substitution is not available we will refund any missing items. We aim to process refunds within 24 hours of you receiving your order

 

CAN I ADD TO MY ORDER ONCE IT’S BEEN PLACED?

Yes. Please place another order online for the additional items and make a note in the delivery instructions field

 

DO YOU CATER FOR PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL DIETARY REQUESTS?

Yes. We offer a variety of vegan, vegetarian & gluten free takeaway meals and products. Please look for the symbols on our website

 

WHERE DO TIPS GO?

When you place an order through our website we'll ask if you'd like to leave a tip. Any money you donate will be matched by us and 100% of the funds we raise will be used to supply local doctors, nurses and other NHS workers with essential food packages – that's restaurant meals, fruit & veg and other staple items
