ARGIANO TERRAIA RESERVA 2003 -Argiano in Chianti is a 12th century privately owned stone hamlet, once owned by the Vatican, and situated on a hill top in Chianti.
The estate of 250 acres consists of vineyards, olive groves and a century old forest, and produces an excellent and noted Chianti Classico, as well as other fine wines. Applegarth is extremely fortunate to be one of a handfull of outlets in the country to stock it. |

Food Adventures
On a monthly basis Applegarth holds a Food Adventure in our restaurant and farmshop. In half an hour Guy demonstrates how to put together a fantastic three course meal using food found around the farmshop. Drawing upon years of working behind the camera he entertains and educates even the most stalwart baked bean eater!

Guy Wolley has been messing around with food for thirty years. Having trained with the Savoy group in London with stints at the Connaught, The Berkeley, Claridges and the Savoy he then spent the early 1980’s it the Hotel Lancaster, just off the Champs Elysees.
In 2002 he became a presenter on Good Food Live, and has regularly appeared with Anthony Worrell Thomson and Christophe Novelly on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen’ Guy has been spearheading Applegarths restaurant and Farmshop since 2009. |
